Description
Imagine you are in the Collodi era, walking through the streets, when suddenly your eyes land on a poster that promises an extraordinary show with puppets and live music. Welcome to the show of The Company of the Master Fire-eater!
The poster is the product of a creative collaboration between two artists: Luca Zamoc @lucazamoc , who crafted the illustration, and Luca Lattuga @luca_anonimaimpressori , who handled the typographic composition. Zamoc designed his artwork to serve both as an illustration and a decorative frame, while Lattuga curated and arranged the text making typesetting that aligns faithfully with the historical period.
The print is manually screen-printed with natural colors, using chlorophyll extract for the green and turmeric for the yellow.
Poster dimensions: 50 x 70 cm
Paper: Fabriano 100% cotton, 240 gsm
You can support the Morning Bell @morningbelledition project by purchasing the poster, which is available on the Kickstarter page (link in bio) until the end of this weekend.
Note: the fonts used come from the movable type archive in the private collection of Luca Lattuga, who has been researching antique movable type since 2011.
